With a history dating back to its inception in 1887, the National Museum of Singapore is the nation's oldest museum with a progressive mind.

Glass Rotunda (Story of the Forest by teamLab and Singapore, Very Old Tree by Robert Zhao) at 6.15pm.
All other galleries: 6.30pm
Baby strollers are permitted in all Galleries.
Visitors should deposit their backpacks and bulky items (including tripods, cabin bags, luggage, skate scooters) at the lockers located on level 2, opposite Seminar Rooms and the basement of the museum. Lockers are available at 50 cents (small) and 1 dollar (large).
To fully appreciate the exhibitions and for the comfort of all visitors, please switch your mobile phones to silent mode and refrain from talking or laughing loudly.
Only pencils, sketchbooks and notebooks are permitted in the galleries. Please do not obstruct traffic flow in the galleries while sketching.
There is no dress code for the museum. However, our galleries are climate controlled for artefact conservation reasons. Visitors may wish to bring something to keep warm during your visit.
